Tiny patients, big changes - transition into paediatric training

Dr Devin Deo is a current Paediatric Registrar at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead in Sydney, as part of his formal training in paediatrics. He is also the current Australian Medical Association (AMA) NSW Representative for Westmead Kids and also sits on the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network Clinical Council as an appointed member. Prior to this, Dr Deo worked for 2 years in rural Taree at Manning Base Hospital. He graduated from the University of Newcastle in NSW with a Bachelor of Medicine degree. He would later go on to become a Clinical Associate Lecturer with the University of Newcastle, for his coordination and organization of a JMO led teaching program for medical students.
